The world’s first biorefinery for wood-based chemicals and fillers on a large industrial scale is currently being built in Leuna. In the future, we will make our plastics from wood and save valuable resources in the process. This is because the plant will make it possible to obtain biochemicals for the production of recyclable everyday objects and materials from sustainably produced hardwood. These include a wide range of applications — for example textiles, plastics, cosmetics or medicines.

The mission

It goes without saying that we are also at the starting line for this future project and are supplying the construction project with the best and highest-quality insulation so that all insulation work can be completed in a construction period of two years.
