It’s normal for our children to go to school — but what if there were no school at all? In the Lebanese-Syrian border region, hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugee children live at subsistence level in temporary tent cities without access to education, yet this is the generation that will have to rebuild their country after the war. The children need knowledge and perspectives. They need a school. Together with Zeltschule e.V., we founded the Tigerschule, one of eleven tent schools in the refugee camps.
